Desperate enough to vote for a morally bankrupt, traitorous, narcissistic, senile rapist...because he's the GOP candidate they figure has the best chance of winning in November. Such reasoning (and I use the term loosely...) is baffling to me, but I don't think I'm off target in that assessment. I've met more than a few people of conservative persuasion who are both intelligent enough and ethically grounded enough to despise Trump...but still are at the very least
considering voting for him in November. Clearly - to me, anyway - that ethical grounding isn't as firm as it should be, but my point is these aren't bad people or cultist simpletons.
That's just how socio-politically divided the US is.
Of course, I haven't met (in person) anyone like that in months...for obvious reasons. My emigration had very,
very little to do with what I consider to be the now-inevitable collapse of American society...but it sure is a fringe benefit.
