1. Please give an OBJECTIVE definition or procedure that distinguishes between "Truth" and "Misinformation".
2. Describe a censorship law that does not infringe on constitutionally protected freedom of expression.
Watch what you say, because I am prepared to shred your case if you STILL favor Censorship after all that has happened during the past few years.
In particular, no public entity like Facebook, etc, should be permitted to censor anything (except as given below) because they are de facto common carriers and must be open to all.
I wish to state MY personal position: Censorship should be forbidden except for classified defense information. Even here, the criterion is NOT truth.
Defamatory information should not be censored, but the injured party should always have the right to sue. By the way, on the federal level, there are no criminal defamation or insult laws in the United States. However, civil defamation laws permit the victim to clean out the bank accounts of the defamer. THAT should constitute sufficient deterrence.
