""The relationship between Dumas and Bonaparte was a turbulent one, though Bonaparte respected Dumas’ resume Dumas didn’t hold the same level of respect for Bonaparte""".
Hahaha, apparently Thomas Alexander Dumas did not respect Napoleon but Napoleon respected him. Wonder if this was the cause of Napoleon being enraged and simply opposed Dumas. There you have it, Napoleon was disrespected by a Black Frenchman. LOL
And you are right, very good observation, sir,...Thomas Alexander was born in Haiti but moved to France with his White Father when he was a kid and remained there. He move to France way before the Haitian revolution even started. So he didn't know Haiti as much as he knew France where he grew up.
Anyway, the history of Thomas Alexander reminds me so much of "Antara ibn Shaddad" the desert warrior and poet in Arabia(photo below), he was the Thomas Alexander Dumas of Arabia,.. and like Dumas, Antara was also part Black, his father was an Arab caucasian and his mother was an Abyssinian Black slave,.. and like Dumas, Antara didn't take shit from anyone and had always win his Arabian desert wars. All the Abdulites at the time being FEARED HIM. LOL-->LOL
