You know, the Egyptians had glass while others were still drinking from tin cups. It seems a meteorite crashed in the desert, in Kemet, turning the sand into glass. That’s how they deduced the glass-making process it is said. So, the King Tut throne backrest of the glass imagery is fascinating to me. It was crafted in the 1300s BC. I suppose Europeans were still in the Steppes or just leaving Eurasia. I wonder who was the first European to drink from a glass? LoL
