Cnc dates are Aug 16th thru 21st
Coed will be played Wed and Thurs championship Mon night. Double elimination format. Fee is $225 per team. We will accept coed teams from West Chester and Norristown as well.
Men's division will be played Fri thru Mon. This yr for the 1st time we will open the tournament up to teams in west Chester, Kennett sq, Norristown and del castle. Also for the 1st time ever we will have a 3 game guarantee which includes our first ever rec bracket championship. Fee to enter is also 225.
This yrs winner of the competitive bracket will receive a paid birth to sna nationals in Virginia beach in Sept.
We are at 7 raffle prizes as of now. We are cutting off sponsors and raffle donations July 16th. We need to send our raffle information to Munroe printing so we can have our raffle tickets done by the cnc challenge meeting. We also need to give them time to make the banners for those that were courteous enough to help sponsor this tournament. We will have our PayPal set up July 17th for people who would love to purchase raffle tickets online.
We will start taking teams July 1st. The deadline for teams to enter is Aug 1st. We will not take teams after the 1st. We need to get our brackets ready for the tournament meeting which will take place Aug 3rd.
This yr each team will receive 30 raffle tickets to sell. It is very important that these tickets get sold. Most of the money we will donate to American cancer society comes from these raffles. So please do your best to sell these tickets.
Coed rosters are allowed 24 players men's rosters are allowed 20. In the past if you were left off the cnc roster you weren't allowed to play with another team. A lot of leagues allow 25 man rosters. So if you were unfortunately left off that meant you couldn't play well not this year. If your left off you can be picked up. If you are on a roster you can't play with another team unless you are on that teams roster.
Men are allowed 3 pick up players. Coed are allowed 4 pick ups. It has to be 2 guys and 2 girls.
All fees will be due at the meeting on August 3rd. If you don't have your fees your name will not get put in the box for the draw. The meeting will be at hook field 7pm.
This committee has been hard at work this summer discussing ways to make this tournament the best around. Our commitee worked with each other and want nothing more then for this tournament to be what it once was and for that to happen these changes had to be made. We look forward to seeing everyone this August to play some ball for a great cause. Rocco and myself also been in contact with the daily times and they're going to cover this tournament the best they can and we are thankful again for there support and coverage.
