I have wanted one of these since I tried one back in 2009 for a set at a festival. I was blown away. But these guitars do not come cheap and theres isnt a ton of them out there really. $4000-$15k. So for years ive not even paid attention to the prices or actually getting one. But 2 months ago I spotted a Travis Bean that said it was made in 2021. So I messaged EGC and they filled me in on the new Beans that have the blessing of the folks that made the originals. Some of the older models have some issues that either cant really be fixed or itll cost a lot of fix it. The newer one I have does not exhibit some of the negative things that have been discussed with the older vintage models. The guitar was a hair under $5000k when I first started talking to EGC. The guitar for sale was a NEW guitar that was built for someone who didnt like the weight. It is a HEAVY guitar. I managed to talk them down, although I wont mention the price.
I posted a video of the unboxing and more videos on the Bean and many of my other guitars and gear on youtube. Look up CTCards (thats me).
(To be continued) :-)
