Today, 39.5 percent will be diagnosed with cancer, and a third will die from it. That's not much of a difference.

The NCI is now spending north of $6 billion annually on cancer research. So why hasn't the needle moved? Of course, no one wants to shut down cancer research, for obvious reasons. Regardless, I'd love to know.
