Streets of Hebburn ~ Cornwall Road…

Parallel with and behind (south of) Elmfield Road, and accessed via either Devon Road, Somerset Road or Rutland Road. Built after 1958.
In 1850, this was arable land, named ‘Ox Close & Slipper Leighs’, occupied by Matthew Laws, and leased from landowner Cuthbert Ellison. Named after:
Corwall - ceremonial county and unitary authority area of England. [/url
