All the world’s a stage…

I was thinking that if all the old Hebburn houses that have been demolished, were rebuilt in the same locations, it just wouldn’t feel right – the stage might be the same, but the characters have moved on.
For example, imagine if The Three Streets reappeared, in situ, in the Colliery: Arthur, Harvey and Frederick, it would be lovely - but I doubt that the original occupants of earlier years would want to move back into them (would you?), as that moment in history has passed and that stage of play is over.
All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
The curtains have closed.
