The first from 1945 pictures me as a babe in arms with my mum Iris Cummings (nee Fuller), her mam Margaret Clementson (nee Gibbins) and Great Granny Christiana Gibbins (nee Knox). Nana was previously married to William Fuller who survived the first war but was killed in the pit in 1919.
They were all colliery people.
The second is at 11 Maple St, Jarrow from 1955 with from nearest the car Harold Cummings, Bill Fuller, Peggy Clementson (nee Martin),Nana Meggie Clementson, Margaret Clementson (now Sissons) Iris Cummings and my brother Geoff (now dead)
The last is more intriguing. It is Harold Clementson and his wife Peggy. It is undated but marked "going to the fair). Which fair and where? House frontages dont look like Hebburn/Jarrow so may have been Grimsby where he moved for work after demob. By the look of his trousers he was still retaining his RN sense of style so could be 45/6.
(Martin). Harold's Dad was John E Clementson from Jarrow (b1897) and Peg was from Hebburn
