Joseph I have a photo of my G. G/F and his youngest son on the beech with probably his rivetting crew. In about 1913/14. It may have been Uncle Johnís 21st celebration.
G. G/F and Uncle John are letís say in their Sunday best. This continued up to at least 1939 judging from other photoís that I have. Norman could have one of them on his website.
After WW11 it was somewhat the same until around the 50ís.
Then people had more clothes other than work wear and best as you did not need coupons to buy goods.
A trip to the beech was a highlight of the week and most tried to dress as best they could.
