Well of course I could not say where my surgery is but just to say it has changed so much I now really worry about the future. For 40 years the surgery has-been fantastic, now sadly it is impossible to see your doctor, but if you have an emergency a doctor will give you a ring to decide if you need to see a doctor. My health has been given to a nurse and if one is not available you can see a pharmacist. Today I had an appointment to see the nurse at 4.30pm I eventually saw her at 5.10pm. She was very nice, just very busy. All the older doctors have taken early retirement, the new doctors are fantastic and really enthusiastic, but usually impossible to see. We have 15 doctors in the practice, but still not enough for all the new people arriving in the town who need a doctor. How is it in the North.?
