I lost fuschias and begonias and some canna all of which had overwintered in previous years. I nearly lost a beautiful agapanthus but I have managed to revive it. I had some succulents...most are dead as a dodo...!
Did any of you gardeners have the same experience?
But despite the winters killing spree I dont think that the roses have ever been as good.
I attach a few photos of part of the rose garden where we have about 15 varieties and 50 plants.
The white in the background is a magnificent single Rambling Rector which has really spread its wings and wraps around what we call the "secret garden".
