In all of the euphoria surrounding England's victory and the focus upon the illegal tactics of the Colombians one thing seem to have been missed: the England team's passing ability is third rate. The % of passes which actually reach a designated player is well below what would be expected for a potential Cup winning side. And they did not score a goal in open play - 1 penalty before the final penalty shoot out. I would love to see England win, but how they will fare against a well-organised side (eg Brazil) with real ball control skills remains to be seen.
