Accessed via Finchale Road. Backed onto Island Lake - part of Hebburn Hall Ponds, drained c.1957.
14 residential homes - 2 flats (Nos. 1-14) - 8 built in late 1950s.
In 1850, this was arable land, named ‘Wells Close’; occupied by John Redhead, and leased from landowner Cuthbert Ellison. Named after:
