The CP in the pic you originally posted was a Johnson (Westoe Brewery) House whereas in the picture above Deuchars Ales were served.
The Deuchers Brand which used to be all over the NE and Scotland died out but the Company that now owns the name now makes some stuff, an IPA I think is one of them.
The Deuchars house in Jarrow that I remember was the Station.
Today trying to work out who owns which brand or even who makes the stuff that each brand is supposed to be is a research nightmare.
PS It was a chap called Swinburne from S Shields who formed a company which had a great part in the building of the Great Exhibition ie The Crystal Palace. My asumption is that that is why the pub got its name as a Westoe tied House.
