What became of the old British Bulldog? Have we really sunk so far down in this world that we can no longer manage our own affairs? Come on! There is still plenty of life in the old dog yet.
As far as this business of U.K. falling over the edge of the cliff on Brexit Day One, I am reminded of the day when the millennium clock was going to blow the world to kingdom come at the stroke of midnight. I think that the Remain Camaign want a similar outcome for Brexit. These are the same people and mentalities that have sold our country down the river and given it away, slice by slice, since WW2.
I really do hope for a 'no deal' so that our country can, once again, show the world what it is made of...we don't need to be governed by the EU. Anyone who thinks we need to be, should stand aside and let more positive mental attitudes prevail. As for a second referendum, I will never understand the logic of runner up being declared the winner. If the government fail to deliver on the people's majority vote then the idea of referendum should be done away with all together...along with Democracy!
