The one in Harrogate is always busy, early morning, lunch time and after schools finish through to closing time.
However inside there are 6 aisles. Of the shelves to either side of each aisle only the outer ones have reasonable to good stuff. The next aisle in only half the shelves have reasonable to good stuff. The rest of the shelves have limited reasonable to good stuff but in the main they sell cheap items most of which you will not bother with.
Be aware that their veg can “go off” in 3-4 days. We still after a year have not fathomed their date codes.
We visit 2 x per week only when passing as it’s on the road into Harrogate. If it wasn’t we would not bother to go to it.
As they say each to their own. Just don’t use it using rose coloured glasses.
You will love it the first 5 or 6 times you go but after that ???.
I think that in Hebburn you may only have Aldi.
We in Harrogate also have Morrison’s, Sainsbury, ASDA and Waitrose plus other small ones like Fulton’s. So we are spoilt for choice. But you do need a car to get to them.
In January report in on your thoughts about Aldi.
The Aldi stores in France tend to be a bit better but not a lot.
