They toured UK in '47 which was when "our" photo is dated and played Newcastlebut they also did Nottingham.. Stan also had his Hebburn connection which adds to the plot!
Obviously that is not imperical evidence but increases the possibilites.
James' comment on the photo adds to the intrigue!
