Re: A River bereft of ships,a river bereft of its sole, cry me a river.
I remember when I was a child my mother ran the canteen at Harrison’s Shipyard and was taken there more or less everyday before I started iat Bill Quay infants school, it was wonderful watching the ships being launched from the other side of the river and hoping they wouldn’t smash into the Harrison’s side, wonderful days watching what was going on.
