The Edna Nicod and Maggie Lee could well be cousins of sorts. My Grandmother was a Annie Morris (St. Rollox St.) one sister Edna married a Nicod. Another sister married a Thompson and their daughter Thelma married a Billy Lee (Boys Brigade and High Land Row Methodist Church)
The Billy Lee whoes photo it is is from the same Lee’s family if I remember.

Did a bit of research last night and as far as I can find there was no other Edna Nicod other than my Great Aunt and I doubt that she would be working in the 50’s as she had 3 children, the eldest one got married in 1953.

It is possible that the Edna Nicod name is wrong she may be an Edna or a Nicod. Of course her name Edna may be just one of her names as the Nicod’s tended to have at least 2 forenames so this Edna could have been her middle name.

I have a photo of all the Morris sisters taken in 1958 with Edna Nicod on it. So I will dig it out and compare the faces.

As with all family research, one is guided by the info. That is available and it can be wrong.

Are well more research required on the Nicod and Lee’s. I don’t like unanswered questions so that for the To Doo file.
