Two months before I was born, my mother and my dadís mother, decided in March 1941, because of the bombing. To travel to relatives who lived in Dalmuir. Previous to that , there had been no bombing on The Clyde. No sooner had they arrived and the Germans decided it was time to bomb Clydebank.. Because of the severity of the bombing in Dalmuir, they had to return to Jarrow. I was born in May in Albany Tce, Monkton Village.
