Yes, Elizabeth, we all called Wagonway Road the 'low road'. but it had four rows of houses on it that were identified by names. They were all on the north side and starting from the Palmers end, you had Railway Terrace, Bede Buildings, Hilda Terrace and Quality Row. I think that the problem has stemmed from mistakes in the records and map information.
I would say that Tom's account is similar to mine in all respects and I wouldn't disagree with any of the points he makes.
