Re: May is caving in again - she is allowing a free vote on whether to remain in a Customs Union
Liz, I have tried to keep up with proceedings and have to admit that I am getting left behind and lost with regard to where Brexit stands at the moment. I keep the parliament channel running and find that they are going round in circles, beating their gums in an attempt to put down the people's decision to Leave the EU.
As far as I understand, leaving with a 'no deal' is still the default position and seems to be the only one that will fulfil the Referendum of June, 2016. We can only hope that they continue to bore pants off each other till they run into the preferred result...a clean departure on the 12 April. From that position we can then start to make trade deals with the world...including the EU. What could be more simple than that?
