Re: Tuesday's Header for Allan
My grandparents, John and Grace Tungate owned the shop and John's brother George lived at 123 Victoria Road West with his wife, Cis. They had a son, Geordie, who worked at Reyrolles. He and his wife, Olga took over 123 when my Great uncle and aunt died and they had many holidays in Egypt. After Geordie died, Olga surrounded herself with cats.
I knocked around with Lyn Turpin for quite a while and was friendly with her sister Dorothy also. I never really knew Ken, but he comes on this site quite a bit now.
