The man who sold our gold
Gordon Brown, the man who thinks he is much cleverer than us 'ordinary' people began selling Britain’s gold reserves, when the global price was at a 20-year low. Over three years, he sold 401 tons of gold from the Treasury’s total of 716 tons at an average price of $275 an ounce. The sale generated just £2.4billion. That gold today would be worth about £17 billion.
And the idiot has the nerve to interfere with Brexit.
