Re: Why our water rates are high in a rainy country
At least it is actual water, here in Australia water for agriculture is privatised in the Murray - Darling river system. Big business has moved in domiciled in the Cayman islands they held water rights over rain falling in the catchment area. Now it doesn't rain that often out there but they sold the rights to flood water to the Government for $80 million dollars! The Government bought something that doesn't actually exist! Beat that for stupidity.
