Reuben Warwick was 16 on this photograph, as his mates would have been, with their Demon Warrior days now behind them.
They’re very well dressed (suit, shirt and tie), so I’m assuming it’s a coming of age photograph – maybe their first job.
I notice that one of the boys has bands around his trousers at the knees, so maybe the lads were part of a cycling team – looking at photographs of other cyclists of the 1920s, these clothes weren’t out of place for cycling.

Reuben Warwick Senior (a coalminer, as Norman pointed out) & Sarah Warwick lived at 4, Arthur Street, Hebburn, in 1911.
Lilian, you’re correct, Reuben junior (on the group header photograph), was married to ‘Decima’; and Eddie is correct that they lived at 72, Quarry Road, Hebburn.
