Re: insect bites
Like you Elizabeth, if something is around that bites, it will find me. Forty years ago I tried 'After bite' for mosquito bites - all I could smell was Ammonia - since then I use household 'Ammonia' - I carry a small bottle around with me - everywhere - if I don't use the Ammonia after being bitten I'm awakened during the night with burning, itchy bites even a week later driving me around the bend, dabbing the bites whenever they bother me. This is a particularly bad year for mosquitoes here and for gardening I spray an old shirt and pants with bug spray 'cause I don't like using the spray on my person but I always get bitten somewhere. (I checked with my Pharmacist about the Ammonia). Good luck with whatever you try.
