You now know that a Mr McGregor lived in your grans house before them.
He was from Scotland and attended St Andrews Prebyterian Church. That probably how my Granda a fellow Scot attending St Andrews ended up lodging there.
Here is a bit info on the Cherry family.
In 1910 Edward Cherry worked at the Pit and lived at 6 & 7 Store Row. Isabella Cherry lived at 11 William St which was a property owned by North Eastern Breweries.
