Thank you Steve - That is as I remember her. At the time of my starting school Easter 1944, because the War responders where occupying a significant portion of the school half the children went in the morning the others in the afternoon. My first lesson with her was music!!! We all had to play an imaginary musical instrument - there was imitation Violins, Cellos Drums Trumpets etc. etc. Mine was a Double base. Second lesson she taught us the local song 'The Lambton Worm' I still remember it entirely from memory - Sing it at local gatherings - I live in France now so it is incomprehensible to everyone. I remember her running to school every morning a 'Mary Poppins' type of lady. Really lovely Lady - I did not know she had died! Thank you Steve
