Steam traction engine rallies were started with 2 tractors racing in a field in Pickering North yorkshire. The land owner started building on the field and so it was moved to Whitby. The biggest rally was the Great Dorset but sadly due to running costs it has ended. The lads tell me coal prices have lessened other rallies. Sad really...
