It's been a very slow start this year down to the weather, really wet, all we have in the ground so far are garlic planted last year, and this week have managed to get our first early potatoes in as well as shallots and onions, the greenhouse is full of seedlings all ready to be planted. Hopefully second early potatoes and leeks along with peas and French beans. Everything seems over a month behind so we aren't sure what this year will bring but I am picking up a 16ft greenhouse tomorrow so if the weather is awful we will be able to grow a lot more under glass. We have to dismantle it so that will an experience in itself. Hopefully everything will improve over the coming weeks and we will catch up weather wise but you never know, been on the allotment today and its been cold with a biting wind I thought we might have said goodbye to all that.
