Norman, while I will never really blend in with the locals, my heart and home is forever Geordie, since day one here I dressed local did my upmost not to preach, bite my tounge often, mix with as much as I can with a culture that is foreign to me and it seems to be paying off, if I do not show up for an event as simple as meeting for coffee some one will be asking, are you alright ? Do you need a ride or other help. They are rough East Coaters living a semi primitive life style, even for Canada, I've found a chink in their Armour which could mentaly and phisicaly assist me live here. Like I've said before, the apple does not fall to far from the tree here. Just an insight into Banjo Country.
