Hmmm! That explains it…

There were two very clever ladies, named Isabel Myers (daughter) and Katharine Briggs (Mother), that were responsible for the creation of what has become the most widely used and highly respected personality inventory of all time (the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) that allows people to determine what personality they have. Millions take the test each year. If you'd like to do a test, just search Google. |
I recently took a test, Online, and found that I am what is known as an INFJ - apparently, the rarest of personality types - though, it doesn’t explain if that’s a good thing.
The test also indicates traits for each personality, and mine was extremely accurate. How amazing is that? After all these years, I now know why I think and act the way I do.
They say that if you try to change your personality, it will be detrimental to your health. It feels like we have no say over the matter… we are what we are. It’s no good trying to bark if you’re a cat.
The main thing is, that although I know my personality - as I’ve lived it inside out - I now have a name for it, and I now know the reason I think the way I do… it’s because I’m an INFJ.
Has anyone taken a test, or have any views on this?
