Margaret My great uncle John went to Toronto 1956 to 1965. |
Itís almost impossible to find out when he and his wife died. I would have thought they could have lived until their early to mid 70ís so that would be say 1970 ish.
However I had a shock when I was able to find that their only son Ian had lived until he was 95 and died in 2015.
Mac we returned home today at 15.00 the ferry had trouble with its rear loading ramp. It should have sailed at 19.00 but it finally left at midnight.
Regarding cycling I managed to cycle about 300 miles over 19 days. Could have done more but it was too hot after about 14.00.
We had 5 weeks of hot sun every day. Yesterday at Ghent it was 24C the coolest that we had.
I have now to strip, clean and lube the 3 bikes. Annís needs a full strip and rebuild as itís not had one for 3 years.
My 2 are straight forward as oneís almost new and the other had a full rebuild in August with new parts fitted as its now 14 years old. I should replace it but they are very expensive and I have not found one to suit me.
Hope to start riding around here next week once outstanding jobs done. Then I wil get in some hill climbing as itís been mostly flat where weíve been.
