Well David, I would like to stick my oar in here...oh dear, sorry for that but still on the Brexit theme. It's not over till 'the last ship sails' (as Sting would say). |
Now here we have another chance for a NO DEAL voyage. Who will sail with me in the good ship "Brexiteer"...that's like "Privateer" without the skull and crossbones. We'll leave that emblem where it belongs...yes! you've guessed it - The House of Commoners.
Will we make it across the line? Not enough sail you might think or, not enough wind. Well, I will put my money on Mr. Tusk to come up with the goods. Will he have that final say in the last EU summit on the 10 April and tell us...'You're out'. That might sound far fetched but he will instantly become the champion of 17,000,000 British people who voted to LEAVE...and would he really want to mix it with our Nigel for the foreseeable future? No way! aaaaand yet, we could still make all the agreeable deals with EU that we want to at a leisurely pace in the future.
Surely this is the way forward. Now then, about that sailing time...does anybody know how I can make direct contact with Mr Tusk so that I can put the proposition to him?
Cast off for'ard...cast off aft.
