Theatres and stages are dangerous places
Wholly unexpected for a fire, or bombs therein. In the panic, many in an audience would not know what to do. We had a tornado warning, May 2013 I believe, when the concert was shut down and everyone in the hall was ushered into the basement and orchestra dressing room area. No tornado, but up to four feet of hail fell. We could hear it on the roof of the hall from the basement. Crocus City is something of a rock-pop venue. Comparable to venues in Las Vegas. We have a ten foot wide strip across the stage where NO chairs or musicians are allowed to sit or stand, because one night about ten years ago, the fire curtain fell unexpectedly. The stage was not in use at that time. Anyone below it would have been killed. ISIS did themselves no favors by carrying out this attack.
