That is always a great day
We don't have a very large pasture, so on the first day, the cattle would all run out to the far corner, then run back to the barn, then turn around and do it again. The old girls who couldn't run very well would go out half way and then jump up and down on their hind legs. It was like they were cheering them on. It was quite a spectacle. After about a half hour, they would settle down. We live on the state highway, and cars would stop and people would get out with their cameras. A day or two later, the cattle would just walk out.
