Civil discourse should be up to us, and indeed Ken made it so. That autonomy and freedom comes with a certain amount of risk, especially when individuals both have long histories of unpleasant interaction with others with whom they disagree, each other, and nature of the topics.
The DNR list at page bottom is strong and powerful evidence camaraderie thwarting tendencies remain alive and well, with or without volatility of the topic. I lost track of how many years this Hatfield and McCoy feud persisted. Some of the same trolls when it was MSN still haven't retired.
The fine line or tightrope walk to avoid political discusion went from friendly reminders, to warnings, to removal of political posts without warning. It didn't just happen.

To some I am verbose, a highly offensive troll, arrogant, pompous, conceited, and was told so. Consequently my responses are often in contempt.
