middle east monitor =
The Middle East Monitor (MEMO) is a not-for-profit press monitoring organization and lobbying group that emerged in mid-2009. It primarily focuses on the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, but also covers other issues in the Middle East. MEMO is pro-Palestinian in orientation and supports Islamist causes. It is regarded as an outlet for the Muslim Brotherhood and its website strongly promotes pro-Hamas related content. The organization is financed by the State of Qatar1. Daud Abdullah, former assistant secretary general of the Muslim Council of Britain, serves as the director of MEMO1.
Please note that MEMO’s perspective and affiliations have been a subject of criticism, with some describing it as a pro-Hamas publication and a promoter of conspiracy theories about Jews, Zionists, money, and power123. Despite these controversies, MEMO continues to provide reporting and analysis on Middle Eastern affairs.
