Wildsmith said he doesn't like what this Bible is about. He qualified his patriotism in alignment with the common evangelical embrace and pride of America, the American way, and American celebration. But as a person of faith, he does not believe documents like the Declaration of Independence, the US Constitution, the Pledge of Allegience should be put into the Bible.
He argues many Protestants are uncomfortable with addition and inclusion of the Apocrypha in the Catholic Bible, and would be equally uncomfortable with inclusion of United States stuff. His and their belief is their relationship with God is a completely different thing from his identity as an American, and that God is above and beyond all nationalism. He sees a danger in conflation of religion and nationalism.
Below in a clear sarcastic fit of contempt, BtF asked if that made (the white ones) all White Christian Nationalists? Is that because I brought up the subject? He clearly has no use or respect for me. If somebody else posted it, would that bias change?
In the end of Revelation is a warning about adding or removing content from this book. Some view that as specific to Revelation, and others apply it to the whole Bible. The fact serious disagreement exists within the Christian community is seen by the sheer number of denominations into which Christianity divided and split apart.
