It’s probably a few clips and connections to switch.
Daughter buys used car from a Honda dealership in town (under 150k miles, Buick Enclave) last Saturday. At the time of the purchase they provide her information about a rewards program they are offering her for free, which includes a 3 month powertrain warranty
Next day she has issues with the pedals sticking. She contacts the salesperson that day and follows up again on Monday Cr continues to have issues and check engine light comes on Tuesday night
Wednesday the salesperson contacts her to bring the car in next morning, which she does.
Today, she is informed by the dealership that it is an internal PCM problem, which they won't repair since it is not a Honda. They tell her she needs to have the car towed to a Buick dealership or a mechanic and she is responsible for the repair.
I believe they should pay for the tow and the repair du e to the warranty reward and also because it is within 15 days of purchase and subject to the implied warranty of merchantability in Illinois
Am i in the wrong here?
