The restaurant business is notorious for it's slim margins.
Not really sure where you're coming from with this. Previous Message Previous Message Previous Message Previous Message It used to be alcohol appetizers and desserts. Now soft drinks are going $4+ and heaven forbid you have a taste for a steak. Family went out for a nice dinner at a casual place and cheapest steak was $49. Fortunately sandwiches chicken and seafood were less than half that and we enjoyed a rare nice dinner out. I need to grill a nice steak this week!
