I paid way too much for mine, mainly because my Mk5 grenaded itself in late '22 when used prices were through the roof. The Mk8 wouldn't have really been that much more if I could have gotten over the haptics. Same color as mine, and same trim level (autobahn). If it were the yellow, I probably would have bought it anwyay. There was one in portland but the dealer upcharge on it was 10k. I wasn't paying >50 for a GTI. Previous Message But he's a petrol head so he definitely was on the lookout for something sporty. We ended up agreeing on a GTI if he would pay for 50% of it, which he did. We were lucky to find an Mk7.5 in really good condition, though it was at the top end of our price window. I was expecting a rough Mk7 or a Mk6, but this one kinda appeared out of the clouds.
