Looks like 1/400 shutter speed based on some of the motion blur. Too slow for that long of a lens.

I thought the auto would pop the shutter speed to faster, but it didnt

With outdoor sports on a sunny day, the sunny 16 rule can help you a lot.

doubledown is spot on. In recent years I used a Sony A7IV with a 100-400 lens for my son’s soccer
