>69. Pink Cadillac
Can only remember bits and pieces of this from it being on HBO when I was a kid. Jim Carrey turns up. Bernadette Peters must have forgotten to blow somebody for it to make this list this low.
>68. City Heat
Joe told me about this one....abandoned by the original director halfway through? Didn't Clint disown it?
>67. The Witches
>66. The First Traveling Saleslady
>65. Ambush at Cimarron Pass
>64. Lafayette Escadrille
>63. Revenge of the Creature
>62. Never Say Goodbye
>61. Escapade in Japan
Only one of these I've heard of is ROTC. I have seen the clip with him in it. Funny when the MST3K guys did it.
>59. The Rookie
I remember this one as being pretty straightforward and tacky.
This one was disowned by pretty much everyone but Ebert right?
>52. The Dead Pool
Should probably be lower. The ending is very very very VERY VERY VERY lame.
>50. J. Edgar
There are a couple of flubs and bad ideas in this but it's not bad for what it is. Again, I don't mind failed Oscar bait movies sometimes.
>46. Sudden Impact
I can't even picture the villain's face from this movie. Sondra Locke sure was ugly wasn't she?
>45. Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil
This is also a failed Oscar bait movie. How many other movies have a black transvestite or Jude Law doing a hilariously bad Southern punk accent in them?
Arrrgh I keep meaning to see it!
>36. The Enforcer
Imagine the response today if someone did a movie with something like Tyne Daly's terrified female cop in it...
You don't even see his face!
>31. Play Misty For Me
I keep meaning to see this one too. How often did he play a late night radio DJ huh? I'd be seeing it for Jessica Walter more than Clint though.
>25. A Perfect World
Geez is this getting a revival or something? I've seen a few references to it recently. Positive ones. I maintain that the ending of the film may be a reference to Ruby Ridge/Waco which happened right before it came out.
>22. Bridges of Madison County
>20. In the Line of Fire
Was expecting the former to be lower and the latter to be higher!
>11. The Beguiled
On my to-watch list.
>7. Mystic River
A somewhat frustrating movie that I can't get out of my head.
>6. Letters From Iwo Jima
I know this topped a 2006 best-of list SOMEWHERE...
>5. Dirty Harry
*stabs self in ankle* OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
>4. Million Dollar Baby
I think this is basically an interesting movie in spite of botch jobs like Hilary Swank's family.
Throw this on my rewatch list.
>1. The Good the Bad and the Ugly
Oh well why not. Tuco comes across like a dick in his scene with the priest brother.
