Has about four excellent songs ("The Weight", "I Shall Be Released", the one with the cool organ part ("Chest Fever" I think) and that other one) and the rest is forgettable. As a result, I never listen to it.
-Randy Newman, Sail Away
Never heard. I always confuse him with Harry Nilsson.
-The National, Boxer
I listened to it once and found it boring.
-The Modern Lovers, The Modern Lovers
I like many of the tracks individually ("Roadrunner" is probably the best) but more than two in a row is too much.
-Flying Burrito Bros, The Gilded Palace of Sin
Excellent, although for some reason I haven't listened to it in years.
I like "Give Up The Funk" but don't think I've heard the rest of it. I generally don't like P-Funk as much as I want to.
-Wu-Tang Clan, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)
I have a Wu-Tang compilation somewhere that hasn't given me any desire to hear more of their work.
-Swans, Children Of God
A band I'm vaguely interested in but will most likely dislike when I get around to them.
-John Coltrane, Ascension
Not my thing.
