Bill Murray - He deserves credit for being one of the few actors over 60 who actually looks old! Which reminds me: those Schwarzenegger Apprentice promos are insufferable as hell. Some review of his last movie on the Ebert site (I think) correctly pointed out that he's actually been in lots and lots of flops in the last decade.
Scarlett Johansson - Seeing her all pale faced and redhaired and quiet and young in Lost In Translation again was a shock. Not just because of it being 14 years ago now, but the degree to which turning her into a "bombshell" kind of ruined her. Hey, I fell for it too...
Sofia Coppola - Marie Antoinette was a good shallow pretty movie. Somewhere was near-zero-star horseshit. Nothing I hate more than subtle arty indie movies that aren't actually subtle. TonyV said TBR was good, so I'm going to put it on my list.
The movie - Yeah, this was probably true. I'm also no longer sure that Bill Murray would have deserved an Oscar--way more than Penn, obviously, but I'm not really convinced Bill had to work very hard to do this movie.
