Something that I'm reminded of every so often is just how much a few years' difference can make at that age. You were a senior when I was a freshman (not that we would have hung out -- I was a really square freshman) and we probably had totally different high-school musical experiences. My family (being pretty affluent, not that I've seen a whole lot of it sincr leaving home) adopted high-speed internet pretty much right away so I could download albums (track-by-track and at varying bitrates) off Napster and build a large and diverse library (of mostly classic rock) quickly and for free, and I could do this as far as I can remember from the beginning of high school. (Also my dad was/is a massive horndog porn fiend which probably factored into getting high-speed internet). This is around when the WRC was starting. Being born in 1985 is really having lived in two different worlds.
There are posters here who are younger than the internet. Like the thought of Donald Trump being president, that always makes me feel weird.
